How to Grow Juicy Tomatoes

Everything a first-timer needs to grow sweet, ripe tomatoes from seedling to harvest.

Tomatoes love warmth and sunshine. Give them at least 6-8 hours of direct sun each day.

Watering: Water deeply 2-3 times a week rather than a little every day. Aim for the base of the plant, keeping leaves dry to prevent disease.

Feeding: Feed with a balanced organic fertilizer every two weeks once flowers appear.

Support: Stake or cage plants early so heavy fruit does not snap the stems.

Harvest: Pick when fruit is firm and fully colored. A gentle twist releases ripe tomatoes from the vine.
